IDEA Announces 2017 Conference

IDEA ANNOUNCES 2017 CONFERENCE

12 February 2017

Assessors’ organisation IDEA has announced that it will run its annual Conference with an early booking discount again this year, and will return to the venue which it says was very popular with delegates last time.

The day-long CPD event will be held on Monday 23 October, at St Andrews Stadium, the home of Birmingham City Football Club (right), to which the Conference moved for the first time last year.

Organisers are promising to provide a selection of presentations by industry experts, plus workshops and exhibitors to satisfy all strands of energy assessment, bringing assessors up to date on Green Deal, ECO, RHI and RdSAP.

IDEA CEO Phyllis Prior Boardman (left) said: “With many exhibitors and speakers attending from the world of energy, it is sure to be a day of inspiration for everyone.”

Members of IDEA can benefit from a £10 discount if they book before 13 June, cutting the fee to £50 from the standard £60.  Tickets are £75 for non-members.

The event will be worth 6 hours CPD, and full details of speakers and presentations will be released over the coming months as they become available.

As in previous years, organisers are planning to hold a pre-Conference Curry Night event so delegates can get acquainted, and possibly even sink a beer or two, and they are currently speaking to local hotels to see what discounts they can arrange for delegates who need to stay over.
